Chak De
Not that Salman Khan needs it but had he agreed to do Chak De, it would have established him as a star who can act too! Chak De had a fab script but Sallu apparently wasn't
interested in working with Yash Raj.

Munnabhai MBBS
Vidhu Vinod Chopra was very keen that his favourite actor SRK play the good-hearted don. Thankfully, he refused and Sanjay signed up for the iconic role and made it his own.
Darr
In the 90s, heroes only played positive characters which is why Aamir Khan refused to play
the obsessive lover in Darr. The then upcoming star Shah Rukh Khan walked in and everything changed for him.
Omkara
Saif's best role was offered to Aamir Khan who, in his typical style wanted to wait and consider it.
Unfortunately, Vishal Bharadwaj wasn't willing!

Silsila
Yash Chopra's romance originally starred Smita Patil and Parveen Babi. But the director felt something was missing and got Jaya and Rekha on board with the help of Big B. And the rest is history!

Kaho Na Pyaar Hai
Kareena was to debut with Hrithik in this film. But mama Babita felt making a debut with Amitabh Bahchan's son Abhishek in Refugee was better bet and the doting daughter walked out. KNPH turned out to be a blockbuster; Refugee flopped.
Page 3
Madhur Bhandarkar had written Page 3 for Kareena but she said no. Konkona Sen Sharma, who stepped
in, did a wonderful job and the film won the National Award.
Kal Ho Na Ho
It was Bebo again who refused Karan Johar's film over monetary issues. A huge mistake for her replacement, Preity Zinta won awards galore for it.

Fashion
Kareena Kapoor said no to Madhur Bhandarkar who then approached Priyanka Chopra, who won the National Award for it. Surely, it was a big miss for Kareena
who tried to make up with Madhur's Heroine – unfortunately, it was dud.

Dil Chahta Hai
Farhan had approached Hrithik to do the role that was eventually played by Akshay (who was supposed to play Aamir's role). Would Hrithik have done a better job than Akshay? We doubt it.

The Dirty Picture
Kangna is an expert at playing troubled characters but we wonder why she refused to play Silk in The Dirty Picture. Unlikely candidate Vidya Balan stepped in and walked away with rave reviews and the National Award. Kangs, who desperately needs a few hits, could have been in Vidya's shoes now! If only…
